Weekend Overnight Respite Care has been offered since 2004. Currently we can care for 5 clients on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights.

Clients who are registered for overnight weekend stays will be assured of a day time program space to allow for a continuous stay from Friday 9:30 am to Monday 7:00 pm.

Recreational programs during the day on Saturday and Sunday are delivered by AOS Recreation Program Specialists and are similar to weekday Programs but delivered to a smaller group (up to 15 clients). Nursing support is available throughout the weekend.

Caregivers can pre-book their one weekend respite 2 months in advance. Clients can have their names added to the waiting list for a second weekend in the same month. Applicants booking their first weekend that month will get priority.

The Overnight Respite Program is not limited to AOS Day Program clients!
