In addition to providing over 100 group sessions per year for both the caregivers and the persons with ADRD, the Registered Social Workers at AOS also provide individual and family counseling to support people in their caregiving role. In addition, they assist the informal caregivers by facilitating referrals to other services and by advocating for appropriate resources and services when necessary to support the family. Sessions can be accessed in person or by telephone.

An informal telephone network is also available for caregivers who wish to interact with other caregivers in similar situations.
